Dear patients and visitors,

Given the current epidemiological situation regarding covid-19, the following rules apply with effect from February 28th, 2022 during a visit to the ISCARE Clinical Centre:

Operation of the ISCARE Clinical Centre

Healthcare of all departments is provided in full, without restrictions.

Entry to the KC ISCARE building is possible under the following conditions:

• Wear respiratory protection, a respirator (FFP2 or KN95) or a Nano drape throughout the ISCARE Clinical Centre.
• Disinfect your hands with disinfectant. Disinfection can be found at each reception of the individual ISCARE departments as well as at the central reception on the ground floor.
• Keep a distance of 2 metres.

Patient visits in the inpatient ward

Due to the current epidemiological situation, visits to patients in the inpatient ward are prohibited until further notice.

Exceptions for visits have patients under the age of 18 and patients with limited disabilities. (The visit time does not exceed 30 minutes and must take place between 16:00 and 18:00.)

Rules for treatment and hospitalization in ISCARE Clinical Centre:

At admission to procedures that are expected to be hospitalized in the ICU, patients will be tested by a negative RT-PCR test for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus, not older than 72 hours.

Namely, these are the planned services:

Orthopedics: total endoprostheses.

Gynecology: hysterectomy, laparotomy, laparoscopy, gynecologic reconstructive surgery for pelvic organ prolapse with the assumption of an ICU.

Plastic surgery: abdominoplasty.

You can undergo RT-PCR in any certified laboratory on the basis of a request, which we will issue to you in agreement with the attending physician.

For all other procedures provided at the ISCARE Clinical Centre, patients are not required to prove with a negative covid-19 test.
